Can I shower, swim or exercise in them?

It depends on timing. The bond needs the first 24 to 48 hours completely dry to cure, so during that window keep the lash line as dry as you can: no showering with your face in the water, no swimming, no heavy sweating, and blot rather than rub if your eyes water.

Once the bond has cured, normal life is fine. Showering, workouts and swimming are all things customers do in their lashes, and light water contact will not disturb a cured bond. The lashes are water-resistant once cured rather than waterproof, so prolonged soaking, chlorine, salt water, steam and rubbing the eyes can all shorten wear.

Going on holiday? Apply two to three days before you travel so the bond is fully set, and pack a spare set.

The one thing that dissolves the adhesive at any stage is oil, so keep oil-based cleansers, balms, eye creams and SPF away from the lash line.
