How to map your cluster lashes
Achieving your perfect lash look starts with understanding your eye shape. Whether you want a natural, cat-eye, or dramatic effect, proper lash mapping ensures a flattering and seamless result.
Step 1: Identify Your Eye Shape
Your eye shape determines how lash clusters should be placed for the most flattering effect.
- Almond Eyes – Suited for most lash styles.
- Round Eyes – Best complemented by elongated styles like cat-eye or winged mapping.
- Hooded Eyes – Benefit from upward-angled lashes to create a lifted effect.
- Monolid Eyes – A mix of longer and shorter clusters adds dimension.
- Downturned Eyes – A slight lift at the outer corners helps balance the shape.
- Deep-Set Eyes – Lashes should focus on adding length and lift to bring the eyes forward, avoiding excessive weight on the lash line.
Step 2: Plan Your Lash Placement
Once you’ve identified your eye shape, divide your lash line into sections. Following our placement guide below, apply from the outer corner, in the way, until you reach the inner corner of your eye.
Step 3: Lash Mapping Techniques
Lash mapping varies depending on the desired look. Below are some recommended maps with suggested cluster lengths. Note that the number of clusters depends on eye/cluster width:
🌿 Natural Look (Soft, Everyday, Balanced)
Effect: Enhances natural lashes by placing the longest lash clusters at the highest point of your brow line. This helps to lift and enhance your eyes for a more flattering finish.
Best for: All eye shapes, first-time lash users
Cluster Placement:
- 10mm – Inner corner
- 12mm – Just before the centre
- 14mm – Centre of the lash line
- 14mm – Just after the centre
- 12mm – Outer corner
🐱 Cat-Eye Look (Elongated, Sultry, Fox Eye)
Effect: Lifts and elongates the eyes for a feline, snatched look.
Best for: Almond, round, downturned eyes
Cluster Placement:
- 10mm – Inner corner
- 10mm – Inner third
- 12mm – Centre of the lash line
- 14mm – Outer third

Effect: A soft, fluttery lash effect, perfect for a natural eyeliner-inspired lift.
Best for: Almond, hooded, monolid, deep-set eyes
Cluster Placement:
- 10mm – Inner corner
- 12mm – Just before the centre
- 12mm – Centre of the lash line
- 14mm – Outer third

- 12mm – Just before the centre
- 14mm – Centre of the lash line

Frequently Asked Questions
Our pre-glued lashes use our unique pre-bond formula, which allows for up to 5 days wear.
Tips to get more wear time out of your lashes:
- Whilst our lashes are waterproof, try to avoid getting them wet for long periods of time
- Try to avoid sleeping on your face
- Ensure that you apply 1mm away from the waterline
- Clamp your pre-glued lashes and your natural lashes together after application using our clamp tool, or a lash applicator
- Avoid rubbing your eyes, or tugging at your lashes
While wearing pre-glued lashes, you can certainly keep your face/eye area clean and shower with them on. That being said, try to avoid direct contact with water for at least the first 24 hours and ideally the first 48 hours. This will help you get more longevity from the lashes. Try to avoid rubbing the lashes when wet.
When cleansing around the eyes, gently navigate with a cotton swab to reach any tricky spots. If there's makeup on the lashes, carefully dab it off with a water-dampened cotton swab. It's important to steer clear of oil-based products near the eyes, as oils can weaken the adhesive.
Absolutely not. If you find that you're aware of the Cluster Lashes while wearing them, it's a sign that they haven't been placed accurately. In such instances, it's best to take them off and reapply for a more comfortable, seamless fit.
Whilst you can get 3-5 days wear out of our press-on lashes with correct aftercare, we do not recommend reusing them.

Applying press-on lashes is surprisingly straightforward. While first-time users might need a little practice, it's generally a simple process. These pre-glued lash clusters are designed to be placed underneath your natural lashes, not over them. This ensures the bands merge seamlessly with your lashes, creating a very natural appearance.
Here's how you do it:
- Gently remove a lash cluster from the tray, making sure not to touch the pre-bonded section near the band.
- Position the cluster just below your natural lashes, keeping clear of the waterline.
- Use the applicator to press the clusters and your natural lashes together, securing the false lashes in place.
Pro tip: For precise placement, it's helpful to look downwards into a magnifying mirror. This approach makes it easier to avoid the waterline while applying the clusters.
If you have any sticky residue on your lashes after application, you can dab a little bit of our seal on the area, which will reduce stickyness. You can also use a very small amount of loose setting powder on the area.
This will depend on how you use the cluster lashes. An average eye takes between 4-6 clusters for a full set of lashes (8-12 for both eyes). Our 5 row packs of pre-glued cluster lashes contain 50-60 cluster lashes (depending on the width of the clusters of that particular style). This means that depending on your eye width, you will get around 6 fresh sets of lashes per pack, each lasting 5 days of wear (30 days wear per pack).
If you only use a couple of clusters for a cat-eye on the outer corner of your eyes, you will get a lot more use out of one pack.
First, ensure your hands are clean. Then, gently peel the clusters off using your fingertip or lash applicator for precision and care. Ensure that you do this slowly and gently.
If they are still firm on your eye and you want to remove them earlier than the 5 days wear time, the process is the exact same.
- When clamping your lashes, do so with quick, soft clamping movements, rather than a heavy clamp.
- When clamping, clamp half way up the lash, rather than directly on the pre-glued strip.
- Ensure that your clamping tool is completely free from sticky residue.
