A lash came off overnight. What went wrong?

If a cluster has come off overnight, it is almost always one of four things, and all four are easy to fix. Start with the first one, because it makes the biggest difference of all.

Re-clamp morning and night. A quick re-clamp every morning and every night, a few light presses along the lash line with the clamp end of the applicator or clean fingertips, re-seats anything the pillow has loosened and is a massive help for wear. It takes ten seconds and most customers who do it find their lashes last noticeably longer.

Prep. Prepping the skin beforehand matters just as much. The eye area and natural lashes need to be completely free from oil, mascara, eye cream and skincare before you apply.

The first clamp. After placing each cluster, several light, quick presses with the clamp end of the applicator (gripping halfway up the lash, never on the adhesive) are what lock the bond. A cluster that was placed but not clamped is the most common overnight casualty.

The cure window and side sleeping. Keep the lashes away from water for the first 24 hours so the adhesive can fully set, and if you sleep on your side or face down, our Overnight Lash Guard Eye Mask protects the lashes in bed.

There are videos covering all of this on the how-to page. And if you have done all of this and a pack still is not holding, get in touch: you are covered by the money-back guarantee, and if your usual routine has suddenly stopped working we would like to check the batch.
